We are now hiring for the following positions:
Renewable Energy/ Safety Instructor
Full-time industry training position to deliver various industry and safety training, assist in the development and procurement of training materials and equipment, and help businesses with training needs assessments. Maintain appropriate client records, schedules, and prepare required reports. OSHA, PEC, ETC, GWO, SafelandUSA, Hazwoper, H2S, Forklift, and other industry safety certifications required or the ability to obtain. Qualified candidates will have experience in electrical, hydraulic,s and schematics and possess an industry/business/teaching background, with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Must have the ability to engage adult students and effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, and be proficient in safety procedures. Available to work designated work schedule, extended hours, and weekends as required by position responsibilities, and must be able to attend and participate in meetings / conferences as scheduled within and outside the district. The position involves rigorous physical demands, including climbing with equipment to 350 feet, working in confined spaces, and performing tasks such as crawling, bending, stooping, and repositioning oneself. Must be able to accomplish training tasks in various environments, including at heights and confined spaces. Applicant must be able to travel when needed. This is a safety-sensitive position.
Administrative Assistant-Safety Support Specialist
Full-time administrative support position to assist with the coordination and maintenance of the Business and Industry Services Department safety training programs. Responsibilities include compiling data for internal and external reports, maintaining student and instructor records, coordinating class schedules and travel, and supporting instructors with inventory and documentation. Must be able to manage multiple deadlines, keep accurate records, and provide excellent customer service to clients and training partners.
Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Driver’s License, and at least one year of clerical or administrative experience (accounts receivable experience preferred). Strong organizational, computer, and communication skills are essential. Must be able to read and interpret a variety of documents and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
Must be available to work designated hours with occasional extended hours or weekends based on workload or events. This is a safety-sensitive position.

High Plains Technology Center is looking for part-time adjunct instructors to teach short term adult education classes in the following areas: Trades, Special Interest, Health, Computer, and Business.
