Student Workforce/HR Services
High Plains Technology Center is accepting applications for a full-time position for Student Workforce/HR Services. This is a 12-month contract position.
This position includes managing the hiring process and required documentation, onboarding new hires, coordinating employee insurance benefits, overseeing the performance management process, preparing and submitting time-sensitive reports, troubleshooting workplace issues, and promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture. In addition, the Student Workforce/HR Services supports student employability development initiatives by providing guidance and instruction in interviewing skills, completing job applications, and understanding essential workplace expectations such as professionalism, punctuality, and effective communication.
Applicants should have a strong understanding of employment laws and personnel records management. A minimum of three years of experience in a human resources position is required; school administration certification is preferred. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational and computer skills, experience in records management, attention to detail, and proven ability to manage multiple priorities.

High Plains Technology Center is looking for part-time adjunct instructors to teach short term adult education classes in the following areas: Trades, Special Interest, Health, Computer, and Business. If you have experience and expertise and have the ability to train others in any one of these fields, please call Tammy Kelln at (580) 571-6159.

Substitute Daytime Instructors
If you are interested in becoming a substitute instructor for our daytime career programs, please call Shannon Carrico at (580) 571-6127. No certification is required. Pay is on a daily rate.
